What is the Quality Initiative?
The Bureau of Quality helps to improve health outcomes for South Carolinians. The team focuses on identifying the success of interventions, accounting for provider and member input, and evaluating the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) using state and national standards. The bureau also manages SCDHHS Quality Strategy and details in the Strategic Plan.
The Office of Early Intervention (BabyNet), Quality Metrics, Quality Assurance and Compliance and Community Initiatives all operate under the bureau.
