If someone contacts you asking for something of monetary value to get or keep Medicaid coverage, please report it by contacting the Medicaid fraud hotline at (888) 364-3224 Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. or by sending an email to FraudRes@scdhhs.gov.

Quality and Patient Safety

The Quality and Patient Safety workgroup is a multidisciplinary team focused on patient safety and quality initiatives from a state-wide perspective.  The overall goal of improving perinatal outcomes through integration of national standards, state goals, and evidence-based practice.

Current areas of focus:

  • Policy Advocacy.
  • Clinical education components needed by the safety bundles through SimCOACH training.
  • Hypertension Patient Safety Bundle
