Governor Henry McMaster issued Executive Order No. 2022-02 directing SCDHHS to perform a review and analysis of the South Carolina Department of Mental Health’s School Mental Health Services Program (SMHSP) and make recommendations for improving the program.
In addition to the report, Director Robby Kerr delivered a letter to Governor McMaster containing the agency's recommendations for improving school-based mental health services.
