What is a Managed Care Organization?
A Managed Care Organization (MCO) is a health care company, often called a "health plan." It is a group of doctors, hospitals and other providers who work together to meet member healthcare needs.
South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) partners with the following MCOs:

- BlueChoice (Healthy Blue)
- Humana Healthy Horizons
- Molina
- Select Health (First Choice)
