Stakeholder Meeting on Rural Health Transformation Program

MB#
25-028

The South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) will host a virtual webinar on the new Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP), an initiative designed to strengthen healthcare access, quality and outcomes in rural communities.

The RHTP (Funding Opportunity Number CMS-RHT-26-001) was created under the Working Families Tax Cuts Act. It is a federal initiative that creates opportunities for states to invest in rural healthcare delivery systems through innovative, system-wide changes that will support healthier communities for future generations.

Hearing directly from providers, community leaders and residents will help ensure South Carolina’s approach to the RHTP reflects the unique needs and opportunities of our rural areas.

The webinar will provide an overview of the RHTP and provide participants with information on how to submit comments or proposals.

Meeting details:

SCDHHS encourages providers, community organizations, local leaders, advocates and residents of rural communities to participate.

For more information about the RHTP or to register for the call, please visit www.scdhhs.gov/rhtp or email grants@scdhhs.gov.
